Kamloops Native Housing Society (KNHS) is an Indigenous governed and managed non-profit Housing Society located in the City of Kamloops and was incorporated in 1987.

Land Acknowledgement

KNHS occupies land that has been a place of cultural and economic significance since time immemorial.

We acknowledge that KNHS is located on Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc territory within the unceded ancestral lands of the Secwépemc Nation. We honor and respect the people, territory, and the lands that sustains our community.

Our Projects

KNHS is the owner of 92 quality affordable housing units in Thompson, Okanagan, and Kootenay with 103 units in Kamloops. Indigenous people oversee the management of the homes, with Indigenous residents occupying 75% of the units.
